Early life and history

David Olaniyi Oyedepo (Bishop of Living Faith Church World Wide known also as Winners' Chapel) was born into the family of Muslim healer Mr.Ibrahim Oyedepo and  member of the Eternal Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement (C&S), Mrs Dorcas Oyedepo on September 27, 1954. He hails from Omu Aran in Kwara State of Nigeria, raised with the virtues of a christian lifestyle by his grandmother in Osogbo, Osun state through early morning prayers and the importance of tithing.
Imbibing all the doctrines taught him by his grandmother, he became born again in 1969 at age 15, and went all out serving Jesus.
He was so intoxicated in love for God, that he told his teacher once "I am a full time christian and a part time student"......... hahahhahahahhahah

Family life  

He married the love of his life Florence Abiola Akano (now known as Faith). They have four children together (David Jr, Isaac, Love Ogah and Joys Oyedepo). David Jr and Isaac Oyedepo were ordained as Pastors in May 2007 by Kenneth Copeland. David Jr pastors the London Branch of the Church with His wife, Kemi while Isaac Oyedepo is the present Resident Pastor of Winners' Chapel International, South Africa.
